A Message from the Fashion Coordinator

CIAF’s fashion coordinator, Lynelle Flinders, highlights the opportunity as a significant platform for young models to develop confidence and expand their networks.

“For anyone out there thinking about applying but unsure if they have the right experience or look – just do it,” Ms. Flinders encourages. “This amazing opportunity opens doors to building self-confidence, empowerment, making new friends, and potentially, a career in fashion.”

Who Can Apply?

This year’s fashion performance will feature an all-ages mix of new and experienced Indigenous models, showcasing collections from 12 Queensland First Nations designers. The Importance of CIAF’s Fashion Performance

The CIAF fashion performance is not only an artistic platform but also a crucial opportunity for designers and creatives to network and form working relationships within the fashion and arts industry.
