The National Indigenous Cultural Centre and Walkabout Australia play a vital role in the positive promotion of Indigenous culture, they not only enable and empower Indigenous artists, enterprise, experiences and educators but also promote reconciliation and understanding between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, helping to bridge cultural divides and encourage respect for the diverse narratives that shape the nation's identity and each other.

The frst project of NICC was the 2023 Walkabout Australia Tour where we travelled over 20,000 km and engaged with aver 2,000,000 Australians at the Royal Shows Where we attended, enabled & promoted indigenous culture and talent, bush tucker, art & craft in a positive, respectful and environment.
