The Nyitting (creation) Experience

Experience Noongar culture with Belinda Cox, a proud Kangeang / Bibblemum Noongar woman (Yorga), in Perth, Western Australia. Kura Kura the Nyitting otherwise known as the ‘cold time’ is the formation of Dreamtime, when the earth was created by a huge rainbow serpent known as the Wagual. Belinda will share stories of the Wagual on how it moved its huge body pushing the sky upwards, away from the ground and how the spirits of creation came into being.

Belinda will share her ancestors’ stories of creation told for over 80 thousand years. Stories steeped in culture and tradition and as old and as human history itself. Belinda brings years of experience delivering the authentic fire lighting practices, protocols and healing practices and shares her extensive cultural knowledge. With over 20 years of her life educating and sharing authentic Aboriginal experiences through her tours and workshops you will experience her charismatic nature with lots of interactive, hands-on, fun and sharing of culture.
