Bush Tucker and Wellbeing

January 1 🕔  8:00 am 📆 December 31 🕔  5:00 pm

$80

Food is our medicine and medicine is our food. Some plants of the Australian bush are not only tasty food, but also contain amazing nutrients, antioxidants and other properties. Learn about accessible bushfood plants and their properties and uses by Dale Tilbrook, a Wardandi Bibbulmun woman, at the Maalinup Aboriginal Art Gallery in the Swan Valley.

The Bush Tucker and Wellbeing experience explores Aboriginal agricultural practices, the Nyungar Six Seasons, learning about native food and medicine plants, and bush tucker fruits, nuts, seeds, herbs, leaves and sweet and savoury dishes.

This tour operates all year round.
