CEO of Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia and operator of Ayers Rock Resort, Matt Cameron-Smith, expressed his excitement about introducing the Australian Native High Tea to Uluru. “Long before traveling with purpose was a trend, we’ve been focused on our purpose to promote responsible tourism,” he said. “As we mark 40 years of delivering exceptional hospitality and innovative experiences, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re expanding our offering with two new cultural and Indigenous-inspired experiences at Ayers Rock Resort, Uluru.”

The Australian Native High Tea experience will feature a selection of handmade sweet petits fours and savory light bites, all infused with indigenous flavors. Paired with fine tea, coffee, and Australian sparkling wine, this dining experience promises to highlight the unique culinary heritage of Australia.

Designed for guests seeking relaxation and connection after exploring Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, the Australian Native High Tea caters to both international and domestic travelers.

The 1.5-hour Australian Native High Tea will be served daily at Sails in the Desert, with prices starting at $75 for adults and $45 for children.

This new addition to Ayers Rock Resort’s culinary offerings represents a fusion of cultural celebration and gastronomic exploration, inviting guests to savor the essence of Australia’s native ingredients in an iconic setting.
