Fresh from their success at Eurovision 2024, the dynamic electronic music duo Electric Fields is set to join forces with the prestigious Sydney Symphony Orchestra for an extraordinary musical event. This collaboration marks another milestone for the multi-award-winning group, renowned for their innovative sound and powerful performances that continue to make waves in the music industry. Electric Fields Collaborate with Sydney Symphony Orchestra for Unforgettable Performance
Electric Fields, composed of vocalist Zaachariaha Fielding and producer Michael Ross, has captivated audiences worldwide with their unique fusion of traditional Indigenous Australian sounds and modern electronic beats. Their music, which blends cultural heritage with contemporary rhythms, offers a mesmerizing and profound auditory experience.

The recently-announced collaboration with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, combining the raw energy and emotion of Electric Fields’ music with the grandeur and sophistication of a full orchestra. Composer Alex Turley will reimagine their songs for orchestral performance, bringing a new dimension to their already stunning music. This synergy is set to create an unforgettable night of music at the iconic Sydney Opera House.
Electric Fields have a history with the Sydney Opera House, having previously performed music for the Lighting of the Sails: Yarrkalpa – Hunting Ground at the start of Sydney’s Vivid Live in 2021. Their return to this iconic venue underscores their continuing rise and the growing appreciation for their unique musical style.
In March of this year, Electric Fields made headlines by representing Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden with their original song “One Milkali (One Blood).” This performance was historic as it marked the first time a Eurovision song included a traditional Aboriginal language, with Fielding singing in his native Yankunytjatjara tongue. Although they were eliminated in the first semi-final, their performance was a significant moment for Australian Indigenous culture, showcasing the richness and diversity of the nation’s heritage on an international stage.
The fusion of electronic and classical music will be showcased for a single evening at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday, October 19th. This unique event is expected to attract music lovers and cultural enthusiasts alike, eager to witness the powerful blend of Electric Fields’ electronic beats and the majestic sound of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
Tickets for this unforgettable performance will go on sale starting Thursday, July 25th. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this extraordinary celebration of music and culture.
